Rules and Regulations:

Avant Guard and Fantasy Hair Competition

The Hair Games competition is about creating a big, bright, bold, eye-catching look and unique theme.

All applicants of the Hair Games Contest must first be a qualified/licensed cosmetologist on the day that his/her entry form is submitted. Contestant must be 18 years old or older to participate in the contest.

Competitors must furnish their own supplies, equipment, and music.

Each competitor may enter up to 5 models per entry fee. If more than 5 models, each model will be assessed a $20 ticket charge.

Clothing, music, and props must be appropriate for public presentation to all ages. No profanity or sexual innuendos. No fire props.

All hairstyles and ideas must be original in design and execution. No Wigs allowed.

Each contestant is allotted a total of 10 minutes per segment to include set up and performance.

Contestants agree to abide by the decision of the judges. The SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT to cancel or limit the number of competitors. There must be a minimum of 5 contestants by the start of the competition. If there are NOT 5 contestants at the start of the competition, prize money will be negotiated. No refunds or exchanges.

All competitors and models must sign a release form which authorizes The Hair Games, LLC to use any photos taken during the event for industry and non-industry publication and promotion of this and future events.

Registration is $200. A partial payment of $100 can be paid to secure your spot and the balance of $100 due by May 15th. Contestant fees are non-negotiable and non-refundable.


Grand Prize - $1000 and a Trophy
2nd - Prize Trophy
3rd - Prize Trophy
Contestants will receive 4 CEU Credits
